When I get the server back up. I would like to configure the server so people will use it. As it sits now, we don't have a working redeemer arena mutator. I see Sci has found a Strangelove mutator.. that might be kinda fun in the wide open maps for CTF and ONS.

Would you prefer a server that could be changed from say ONS to Mutant by the mapvoting system?

Tell me what you would like and I'll try to implement it.

The chaging vote is perfect until a redeemer mod is ready. That way, it can be any and all types of servers.

I will keep working on the deemer mod. Had to work this past weekend so couldn't touch it.

I'm game period. I think a password might be in order actually just to keep others off of it. It's hard to learn when you're playing with a bunch of 13 year old Pros that are calling you noobie the whole game.

I agree with Herm. There are so many servers out there, that for now keeping it for the forum members only is no loss to the community. Once it becomes a redeemer arena, then to bring in the fresh meat it should be opened up, yes?

As far as redeemer arena goes, I'm wondering if it will be possible to introduce some of the other map types into it. Most of the DM maps are small and without hiding places for guiders.

One can only hope that over time cool maps like we have enjoyed so much at CG and Schwantz's will be redone or converted over.

I have to disagree with you folks on this one... When I first joined the redeemer arena, I lost to you all BIGTIME. Hell, I usually had over 80 deaths. But I did not give up. I stuck with it and learned from the pros. Now I am a pretty decent player. I think that it should be open to all, and we learn from the professional 13 year olds... BUT, it would be cool to have a SRA only night when the server is password protected to just get online and have fun. BTW, I have been called a NOOB by a lot of the kids too. Who cares?. I know that, with the redeemer, I would hit them so hard that their testicles would finally decend.

Jarg you seem to be wise like Schwantz himself. I have to agree with you now that you put it that way. I wasn't actually whinning about being called a noob. I don't care in the least but I'd like to get to actually play for a minute without a Raptor flying in and ripping me apart or being run over by a Manta or a 4X4. The other night was my first night on this new Onslaught. I just need to play practice rounds with bots for a while and then show on the servers. Later!
