I have looked and looked, but I can no longer find the option in UT 2004 that makes other player's team colours glow. I can't see certain skins very well at all when they are on blue team and we're playing in a dark or all grey map. It's like they blend in with the walls. :? Where the heck did that option disappear to!? :doubt: The only change I've made to the game is that patch that reveals the "hidden" skins. :?: |

You had that option in 2003 because of a bright skins patch. I guess it's not in 2004. I could very well be wrong but I remeber installing the bright skin patch on 2003. |

I never bought UT 2003. Maybe it was only in the demo of UT 2004? I know I had it switched on somewhere. D'oh! It's under game rules for single player. :o I compensated by turning the brightness and contrast up to 0.8 each. The maps are still pretty, but not as moody. :| |

I send it to u nameless i got it. it to big to ail but I can get u to link Hey u guys does he need that patch read this To disable / Enable go to Instant Action >> Game Rules Menu and look for the Bright Skins Toggle. To make the game feel more like original UT we suggest these settings: - upgrade to v2225, and install the DE & Epic Bonus Packs - use the UTClassic mutator - use small weapons (Settings|Player menu) - set FOV to 90 (Settings|Player menu) - use the Evil Announcer from the bonus pack (set the announcer voice in the Settings|Audio menu) - install the BrightPlayerSkins mod (client side only) Instruction: This mod makes the red and blue team skins much brighter, but turns off the shoulder lights. When you install this mod, bright skins are enabled. To disable them (and get the shoulder lights back), go to the Instant Action | Game Rules menu and toggle the bright skins checkbox.
