I called Electronics Boutique today and they said the earliest for UT2K4 availability is next Wednesday, March 17th. No UT2K4 SRA until then...

Hey Boss, Do you plan on running Clem's Magic Redeemer Mod, or using the built in Arena Mod?

I don't know at this point... maybe without a redeemer mod? have to see how it plays out.... Clem's should work as I understand the mods are compatible with ut2k3..

We'll have to see...

Post subject:  Careful

Just be careful! I'm glad you're doing it and not me. I think no deemer at the beginning for just a day or two and then start playing with deemers. I hear the new deemer works much better than the ut23k one did. Maybe we won't need Clem's. That will be sweet if it's true that Clem's will work if we need it. I might buy the game but I won't serve it if I can help it. Is it out here yet? How much?

The Special DVD Edition with headset has magically vanashed from all of the major sites. Try looking for it at EBgames.com, or Amazon. I think that the price is bogus too, because some sites marked it up to $60. I'll bet you don't get the DVD ed. for $40.

Herm, why would you not like to admin a 2004 server? Can't be hardware, as this game can be served on a PIII @ 800 mhz or so. So far, with my limited experience with the game, it seems the netcode is rock solid. Lag is very rare, and pings are excellent. I want to continue my admin learning experience with this game. I can only serve around 6 people with my 256 up, but with smaller maps, that should still be fun.
Plus, we need some new blood here on the forum. Mix the regs up with "the next generation" of redeemer fanatics. I'm sure you folks are getting sick of me posting all of the time

Stupid Best Buy Canada still hasn't got a website worth [visiting]. :?

I'd like to place an advance order for the headset version (if it comes up here at a good price) too. Otherwise it will sell out so fast I'll never get my hands on a copy. :( :(

Future Shop will have the non SE version available up here for $49.99. Not bad for Canada, eh. :|
