NONE of the servers is available as of 3PM PST. Would it be possible to coordinate maintennance on the servers so that we can play somehow?

I have actually been trying to work out the problems with mine. I have re-installed three times. Look in the deathmatch tab to see if it is up.

I'll try to get CG up tonight around 9:00 Central. It's in a lot of pieces right now but I'm sure it will be ok.

I'm actually able to play this afternoon -- have a huge block of time to waste -- and zero deemer servers!

Herm you should image your server and ftp it over to N6 -- he can serve it up on his T1 line in crisis situations!

Temporary Insanity is up and running. And she seems pretty stable. Good ping times for all who have been there. Give her a spin. :D
Also, there are some new maps there, but no fast redirects (as of yet). The maps are pretty small, one file maps, and some are actually pretty good. If you have broadband, try them out.

Well for all the old real regulars, I pulled my old Linux box out and dusted it off and guess what??

Without the fast downloads, the server is very hard to play on for folks who do not have all of the files. I was downloading for an hour and still did not get on. Perhaps you can remove the voicepacks and skins to start out.

I'm working on it but I've been away from the linux dedicated UT Server scene for so long, it'll take awhile to do this. I don't want to disturb the .ini file much as it is working. I've pointed the redirects to one of the public servers but doesn't seem to be doing the job.

I may have some space for the compressed files soon ..

We'll see how things progress this weekend.

Ok.. NU has generously provided some server space for the compressed files. I will hopefully get some time today to start uploading the files.. I'll have to compress them first..

I've got a lot happening right now, but I'll try to get the fast downloads done by late Monday. This sever is on a tiny linux box that runs on 12 volts. It won't house UT2K4.. not enough poop.. However I do have a computer ready to go with UT2K4 if required..
