It's been spooky quiet in here lately. I hope this isn't the onset of something bad.

Well I, for one, am back. I got distracted by real life for several months -- so much so that I've lost my old name. But ANE's endless promotion of monster hunt (to which I am about to voyage...) gave me enuf of a poke to jump back in.

btw, I've applied for another job, so you won't have this government lawyer to kick around for much longer. Instead, you'll have a government something else . . . a teacher, to be more specific. HOPE HOPE.

Best to all,

Shelob/CF

Monster hunt should prepare you for the little monsters of all ages you will encounter in your new profession.

N6, not more important -- just more distracting!

CF, what will you be teaching the government? Also, why did you change names and what does Shelob mean? I liked GodFodder with the pun on Vito Corleone.

My curiosity has been peaked by this monster hunt stuff. I will try to get in on it this weekend.

Herm, once I get all the tubs caulked, the motion sensor installed, the wardrobe furniture assembled, the office cleaned up, the carpets steamed, and the wood floors refurbished, then I'll be back 24/7 redeemin, lol. Argh, this housework shit is killing me.

Mah

First -- hey BH, you don't need to go on CG to play with yourself. In fact, Mah does it for hours every day without even turning on his computer. (Technically untrue -- some of those hours are spent on the Internet, just not at UT-related sites, if you know what I mean.)

The job is teaching at the UW law school -- which doesn't mean that ANE's comment re: "little monsters of all ages" is inapplicable; in fact, law students are little monsters of the worst sort.   I don't have the job (yet? hopefully?); I've applied and of course am positive that I'm light years ahead of the competition. (As an aside, Mah, you may not need the motion sensor. I have found that watching my feet is a pretty good way to see whether I'm moving.) 8)

Shelob is indeed from Return of the King....... I tried it out since it seemed like every single person had changed names and I had no clue who was who. :? :? (Being too lazy to look through all the old posts, I will admit that I STILL don't know who Lotus is, but whoever it is I love as a fellow B&B fan. ) So I changed; thought Shelob would be a good alternative to the many sissy elven names I was seeing. The last piece was to give her a personality; she has to be female and I couldn't resist the Mah voice since he had been missing so long. :D But she's been getting a bit old (plus she can't say "medic," which is integral to my existence), so I'm thinking of going old school.

Missed talking with you guys -- nice to see you all! :) :P  :D

 Who cares! Don't worry. As long as You, nameless and scify are on the forum there will always be posts.

 Yes what could possibly be more important. Do tell.

 English Lit teacher huh.

Actually your partially right ONE. Shelob does show herself in the third movie but is actually in the second book the Two Towers.

 You've come so far BH. Don't fall off the wagon now.

And every single one of them is Clem.

Cool! It'll be great to see you there! The more the merrier, with MH. :)

Also, Monster Hunt is highly recommended therapy for all sorts of ills. Nothing like killing something that's trying to kill you!

elven names? how many did you see? I've just used two: arwen_evenstar and everlasting_lorien. aren't those names beautiful and don't they put you at peace?

- clemmentine ( everlasting_lorien / charming_spirit / Tempest_Cloud_Arashi )

 and I thought you turned the corner. By the way, you've earned the dubious distinction of being the only other person on this forum besides Vette to spew profanities. Something I don't believe I've done. Oh sorry. I'm acting like I'm better then you again.
