It has been a difficult time here at Schwantz Central with the passing of Mrs. Schwantz's Father last week. That is the reason why I haven't been around in the games very much. He had been very ill for the last 5 months in palliative care and we were spending most evenings at the hospital helping to care for him.
We were both worn out with working, caring for him and looking after her mom.

I had shared this info with Mah only but now that its over, I wanted to let you know why I hadn't been doing much related to gaming. I was on CG a few times lately after last Thursday and quite enjoyed it. I was pretty useless on most of the new maps.. Can't say i really get too excited with the small maps, the 1 on 1's etc. but they seem to be the most popular with the new generation of Deemer Players. It's hard getting a deck map voted on unless some of the old SRA'ers are playing also.. Dork City still seems to rear its ugly head when Dondon is on.. LOL.

I am seriously thinking of putting up at UT2004 server when it's released. the screencaps and movies of it look great! I'm already planning to blast Mah and Deadman out of the sky with the space and aircraft vehicles.

Also running Mah over with the new vehicles could be a cathartic experience as well. Where's Dr. Cathy when we need him?

Anyhow enough of that.. I want to wish you all the very best for the holidays! Spend time with your family, friends and pets.

I hear you. My condolences to you and your family.

I'm down here at my brother's place outside of Montreal for Christmas. I didn't really want to visit this year, but now that I'm here I see it was a good idea.



Take care Schwantz, and rest as much as you can over the holidays. I know you need it. Let the unimportant stuff slide for a while.

Schwantz, sorry to hear about it. Hope your wife takes all the time necessary to grieve and recover. And you too. I bottled mine up for 9 years before it virtually crippled me.
