A year ago on December 4th, I was picking leaves and branches out of the house... That's right.. A year has passed since the infamous "tree" incident.

Guess what?

There is a WINTER STORM WARNING for tomorrow (12-04) for this area for ice...

I swear, if it happens again... I'm gonna be the Anti-Johnny Apple Seed. It will be known in the history books as The North Carolina Chainsaw Massacre. Not a single oak shall survive......

Don't worry too much about it. All the real stuff is gonna be West of us (toward Alamance County). We might see a little ice, but it shouldn't be a problem.

Kralizec! My recollection was that durring one storm, and tree fell on his car. Then a short while later (few weeks), a tree fell on his house. He has been suffering from lumbertitus and forestphobia ever since. He's being treated for his conditions with Insuracetametafinprofin.

   ROFL    That about wraps it up there :D

So far so good, but the worst is yet to come. We have about 1/4 of an inch of ice on the trees now. I don't think that any can fall on the house again, but I have been fooled before.

LOL, I am west of you, North-west to be exact. We will be getting the brunt of the storm here. We got three inches of snow this morning, and it is freezing rain right now. Time for the bar and chain oil....

Oops! My bad. Thought you were over in Raleigh. Enjoy the winter wonderland. And don't eat the yellow snow.

We are getting alot of rain that will probably freeze overnight. The worst part for me was that when I went out to my car this morning, someone had robbed me by cutting a hole in my convertible roof. The seats were soaking wet. All of the glove compartment contents were scattered around. All they took was my registration, car insurance card, and my ashtray. But, they left me with about $600 in damages. Happy friggin' holidays!

Sorry to hear it Mortis. My last car was hit twice. Once for the stereo which was a piece of crap and agin for the walkman that I was using for a stereo.

My wifes car got hit at the same place. We found it on blocks and all the wheels were gone. Then she was hit again at a different location for her stereo. The stereo then hurt extra bad because we bought one with the removable face but she didn't take it out that one time. Now both cars have alarms and we've had no trouble.

There is a lot more to that last story but I'll leave it at that. People can reeally suck sometimes. I'm putting in video security at the new house with motin sensor lights that activate the cam too. I already have the lights. The other part will be easy too I hope.
