Happy Thanksgiving to you...BH and all.. I have a lot of things to be thankfull for this year....as I am sure many of you have.

This year I get to say the blessing as the man of my own house, with my wife and our newborn son. My wife and I have come far. I just hope I can make it through with out choking.

ok.....I'm ok now. May need to practice that.

Yes! I hope everyone really enjoys the day. I'll be out of town until Sunday. I won't have access to a PC I don't think. See you Sunday!

Happy Thanksgiving! Good thing Squanto came and taught all the pilgrims, the original boat-people, how to farm, etc. They were starving when he found them, and on the verge of death.

We'll be out of town also. Going up to Seattle to finish painting, recarpet the downstairs, etc. So Herm's CG will be the wild west. Have fun gun-slinging! And remember, no cussing!

And let us not forget those who are thousands of miles from home fighting in foreign countries so that we can enjoy these holidays as a free nation. There will be empty chairs at dinner tables all around the country. Think about this when you sit down with your family this year. Many people don't. Happy thanksgiving.

Unfortunately I am scheduled to work midnight to noon on Thanksgiving Day, so it will not be very happy for me. :(

I love it. I mention how these poor guys are over seas away from there families and I get almost dead silence with the exception of a few. To top it off this guy is complaining about having to work. I'm guessing being homesick while being fired at a 1000 miles away doesn't really compare to having to work on a holiday. I feel for ya bro. Poor guy. I agree working on a holiday does suck but if I had a choice I think I'd pick working over being shot at.

I think when we all say what we are thankful for at dinner we should add those who are 1000's of miles away and those who lost their lives for us

the last week or two thats all i have read and heard that our soliders have been shot down a few of those who have died in the last two weeks came from pa hell the one guy's chopper was shot down on his way home to bury his mother think how his family feels today they buried 2 in one day instead of 1

so give thanks to those over there and those who have died too

happy turkey day all

The silence was just the respectful moment of silence.

Mah.

If you find yourself alone riding in green fields with the sun on your face, do not be troubled, for you are in Elysium and you're already dead.
