21" Trinitron. Dell P1110. Damn thing weighs about 50 lbs. but it is a great monitor. My poor computer desk is bowing under it's weight.

I was wondering, who plays with their weapon visible?

I always played with weapon visible.... I read the tips threads and tried it without...didn't like it. Went back to original.

Recently, (since I built my new pc) I removed the weapon again...

It took a couple days to get used to, but now I don't even notice the difference. It has made a drastic improvement to my game....as some might have notice. Not sure if it is the new pc or the weapon gone, but I am playing better.

I recommend removing the weapon. I just use the X crosshair.

Hey Bigi...

I used to play with my weapon visible, but sometimes it would get in the way of the keyboard....now I strap it to my leg...

17 inch monitor @ 800X600 I find little advantage in the higher resolutions, while the lower just aren't pretty enough. 800X600 is ideal. :)

I've got a 20" trinitron, but I took it off of this desk because it was bowing the top so bad. I never did figure out how to get rid of those in game black bars at the top and right side of the monitor either. Is there a way?

Nameless, do those bars show up on your Sony anytime other than in UT?

namless....it is because you have your monitor settings wrong. What do you have your desktop set at?
