I came in to find CG crashed again last night. Today, right now, I'm going to do what Schwantz told me to do in the first place and build it on a stable OS. It will take me a little while to get everything once again so please be patient with the old Herm. Thank you and have a wonderful day!

Define stable OS. Remember that nowhere in this definition should there be any reference to Microsoft.

Exactly! I have ported it to run through an old Nintendo that I stapled and duck taped an old rotary Southwestern Bell telephone to. It takes forever to start and even longer to dial up a network connection but aside from the couple of fires it's started so far, it runs great! I'm going to try to merge it with two old Intelevision game modules to give it more power. I put it is a plastic bag and keep it in ther fridge to maintain proper cooling. The fridge is pretty far from my cable connection so all I need to figure out now is how to keep signal attenuation and the rust from condesation that occurs everytime I have to open the fridge to a minimum.

By the way, it's running again now. Let me know if it acts funny. On the old connection is was 2000 down and 180 up. On the new it's 3200 down and 370 up. I assume it should feel better to some of you now. Let me know. Enjoy.

herm, I think you could use a 12v Car battery to boost your power...that should take care of you signal degredation.

Don't know how to stop the condensation problem. Seems to be running great now....
:-)
