NO I got the 9800 Pro instead!!!.... :D :D :D I did read today that the Radeon 9000 is a two head Card and a real good Buy at around $120.00
or so!!! ..you might want to look into that ,even though its only direct 8x

Well, I'll also have a look into the ATI 9800 pro then as well.

Knowing the founder of nVidia I am slightly biased, but hey, it's my money

I have the ti 4200 w/128DDR .It's not the best but it blows away most of the rest. If you get a ti card, be sure to get the 128 because it's faster than the 64 when it comes to todays larger texture games. The 64mb card is actually faster with the older games because the ram is a little quicker. So far, the only thing i can't do with my card is use the new mad onion benchmark and I think now you can buy a Direct X 9 ti card. Good luck.

Herm,

what framerates do you get from this card in UT ?

Thanks,

N6,

In the UT cityintro bench mark I get between 112 and 119 depending on whether I use D3D or OpenGL. In game it jumps around from 90 to 250 depending on which map. Average in game is around 130 to 170. I have UseVSync=True, 32bit, 1024X768, Coronas=False. In OpenGL, I can use the large textures from UT CD#2. You wouldn't believe how much better it looks than just using D3D and it renders faster than D3D too. I have to figure out a way to post two side by side shots of the grass on Ariza][. If I did that, everyone here would beg to know how I did it, I garantee it.
