This weather sucks if you look at the one map sci posted Frances is heading for Pittsburgh oh joy we get the thing too.Lets just say today has been a rather windy day todaywe have had wind gust up 23 mph here today and to think this storm isn't suppose to hit us for a few more days.

It is not the wind that is the problem with this storm, it is the rain. We are expecting 8-12 inches of rain before it is over with. That is not a good thing.

I know jarg they Calling I think last time I heard 3 to 6 inches.Some place that not much rain but where I live it is. i am surround by moutains.There is moutain two mile from airport.
I live between Blue Ridge mountian Parkway and Appalachain Mountains( which also call Appalacahin tail which we have poeple hike on). Jarg are in betweem them too?These two moutian Blue ridge moutain and Appalachain Mountains throught many states.

I've been getting light rain almost all day from this storm already. If I'm getting this much; you guys must be getting drenched! :o

Ok, so we had some torrential rain today for a couple of hours. A tornado touched down about a mile from where I work. Everything cleared up almost as suddenly as it appeared. Can't wait to see what comes next. :roll:

We got rain Yesterday about I thought it was 5 inches rain. We got some flooding.

Storm total here: 8-10 inches of rain, with some flooding. Schools were closed in the mountains, as well as some surrounding areas. If we get Ivan, I fear that the floods will be major.

Here too.
Ground won't be as dry it was last week.So I think anyone on east coast got rain. Ivan come this way Major flooding.
