Hang in there, Bud. I never thought that I'd get broad band either. Of course, I still can't play worth a crap with it vs. dial up... BUT downloading and surfing are SOOOO much more enjoyable now. Have you ever downloaded anything on Butch's computer? Plus, with the fast redirects, even a 2 meg map is downloaded before the match starts. If possible, I'd also suggest getting Windows XP. It seems to handle internet traffic better than the 9X Windows.

XP handles high speed at exactly twice the speed of 98. Maybe not exactly twice but very close.

I've played ut a few times on my brother's computer butchxx which has a good cable connection. There will definitely be a learning curve. I suck at it the timing thing urgh!!!!!! I was killing myself way too much.. Will see....I was thinking of installing xp. I think most of my problems are from using ME a change would be good.......
