Just alittle FYI....been having some odd internet problems as of late so the server got a new IP address.

The new address is 24.170.23.33

Just hit the good ole deathmatch tab and re-add.

Enjoy!

Well guys as you've noticed the past few days my server has been down. Well actually it's not down at all........the server is running but for some reason the internet connection keeps dropping. I'm thinking the problem is more than likely the POS router I've had for a few years now. Everything shows like it would be up and functional but as soon as I sit down to hit the internet the bastage shows its true colors. All I have to do is unplug the router for a few seconds and poof everything is right back up for a bit so I guess new purchase is in order.

Anybody know of a good router preferrably non-wireless?

Anyways I'll see about taking care of this problem sometime this evening and hopefully give everybody the deemer fix we all need from time to time. Just bare with me for a bit.

How much do you want to spend??

http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=33-127-158&depa=1

This will be my next router, when I save up enough.

Waiting on the dual processor CPUs to come out. GOTTA get one of those too

LMAO Herm! How's the HD stuff going? Been odd seeing the 9999 on both of your servers the past few days.......Get 'r' done!

The server was up for the most part yesterday but I forgot to turn off a anime torrent I was downloading the night before so that's why the ping was thru the roof Le. Bit Torrent is kewl and all but god it's a bandwidth hog from hell.

Last night I decided before spending some cash on a new router that I would try and see if there was actually any new firmware updates out for the POS. Times before when I had trouble out of it this seemed to clear up any problems with connection I was having. Well there was a new one available so I went on and installed it. The server should be up right now with nothing downloading so all I can do is cross my fingers and hope it is working. Just let me know in here if this temp fix is actually working or not.

OH and BTW.......since the router was acting flunky before I installed the firmware it had somehow changed my IP address AGAIN without messing with the DHCP refresh or unplugging the modem. So the IP I have listed at the top of this thread is wrong now. I know the last number on it changed but can't think of what it is to type it out so your gonna have to check the deathmatch tab and give me another re-add. Thanks for putting up with this crap and hopefully everything will get back to normal.

Well Scify.....let me see.

The 2 anime I was downloading when the pings were going nuts were a Gunbuster episode and a Macross 7 episode. Gunbuster was pretty good (love giant robots blowing stuff up) but the Macross 7 one actually was rather annoying compaired to some of the other Macross stuff I've seen and dowloaded before. WTF are the Japs thinking by taking a good series and making all the characters sing throughout the episode.....bout blew chunks.

Got a few other series that I've found here and there. Here is a small list of what I can think of off the top of my head.

Ghost in the Shell
Ghost in the Shell 2
Ghost in the Shell: Stand alone complex - episodes 1-26
Initial D - First Stage (Season 1) Second Stage (Season 2)
Initial D the Movie and also Battle Stages
Fist of the North Star
Zone of the Enders - the small 12 episode series and a movie

Well thats all I can think of at the moment. That pretty much takes a huge chunk out of a hard drive LOL. When I get home I'll post up a Anime web page that has tons of bit torrent files to download. Just got 5 episodes of Macross Zero a while back and hope they are better than that Macross 7 think I downloaded.
