Sci, do a search for Crazybrowser and download it. It's very small and piggybacks on Internet Explorer. You can configure it to stop the pop-ups, as well as to open all your favorite websites when it starts up.

It sounds like you got hit by a home page hijacker, Scify. You can go here to download a free program called "Spybot Search & Destroy" that will clean up your hard drive of all kinds of cr@p like that. It also has a protect feature that blocks dozens of nasty web pages automatically. ;) I use this program everyday, as it runs faster than good old Ad-Aware. I use Ad-Awareonce a week or so, since it is apparently more thorough than SpyBot.

I must say I find the home page of both of these products both an interesting and scary read. :!:

Hmmmmm. I.E. doesn't block Popups. Well now there's a shocker. I use Camino, Mozilla & Safari and they all block Popups. Sci just go Dload a new browser. I.E. blows huge chunks and i think we all no why. :D

If you have no luck with what Mah proposed or are just tired of crappy old I.E. then give Mozilla 1.4 a shot

Don't listen to the Minister of Information at MacCentral. Mozilla is doomed.
