Gots a question for ntrecker and Darkmatter. Are both of you guys across the sea in Europe? I believe Dark is but I wasn't totally sure.

Boy this server is just one nightmare right after another. Still wondering what the hell is going on with the crazy ping thing jumping thru the roof. It usually doesn't have any problems with 5 people or less from just what I have seen.......sometimes 6 runs good but as soon as person #7 gets on the pings after a minute or 2 go off the scales. Got Bo to help me out to make sure my ini file was right and I didn't have any numbers off (thanks for the help bud). I did find a couple of things I had to change (maxclientrate and all) but even after changing the settings the same thing would happen. Beginning to wonder if it is my cable provider's fault.

Herm I know your a RR person too. How is your luck been with trying to get them to fix and tweak on you connection? I'm pretty sure it is not any of my hardware that is causing the problem (the first server on a different computer was doing the same thing).

Well I guess I'll keep at it and hopefully I will get all the worked out sometime soon. I better get it working soon because at the rate I am going I will be bald in no time flat from pulling my hair out.

I'm sure you'll get it locked down sooner or later bud. You've got some excellent maps so people will accept the occasional hiccup i think. Keep at it Kid.

yea kid uk here trecker a little further away in norway not too far. was on last night and actually got a few maps the thing that was complained about when it starts to download then stops happened but i left it to get a quick drink and after about 1-1.5 minutes thats real minutes not you sit and think its ages minutes it started to d/l was like that for about four maps i tried, but nobody else came on so moved to another server but it did download and didn't shut ut down it is getting better every time.
