Hey, you folks that fool around / use the open GL renderer for UT :
http://cwdohnal.home.mindspring.com/utglr/
How do you set your ----> SwapInterval - [Integer]
Controls V Sync. If set to the default value of -1, the default buffer swapping method is used. Set to 0 to disable V Sync. Set to 1 to enable V Sync. Set to higher values for one frame every N screen refreshes. Not all video drivers support values higher than 1.

Do you use Vsync turned on or off for the smoothest gameplay? ie
SwapInterval 1 or?? Also, Chris has been messing around with D3D8
renderers too ,I messed with it a bit , it seems like an improvement over the older, stock ut ones....only for me it's not as good as open GL.

Thanks,

Iron

Mine is set at minus 1 or (-1). I don't know why it is set like that but it is. Works well for me. Later

Dunno if this is the reason for you problems Scify...

But try and check in Unreal Tournament in the "Options" menu, and then click "Preferences".
Be sure that you have set the "Color Depth" option to 32 bit under the "Video" tap.

I know I had similar problems when running in 16 bit.
