I am curious to see how many of you have it already or plan to get it.

I do, it's quite fun. The Invasion part of the game is similar to Monster Hunt in some aspects, that's part of the reason I like it. I find some of the graphics are also better in UT2004, but some of the weapons don't quite feel the same as the ones in UT99.

I have a copy. It is good but UT is still my favorite. UT2K4 has much better eye candy and that invasion is fun especially on a lan with friends. Never install CHAOSUT2 if you want the most out of your machine. The mod is a blast but I have narrowed it down to it as having some strange problem where if you run 3dmark and get your score before you install it and play it and then again after you have installed it or even uninstalled it, your score will drop 2000-4000 points. I have tested this thoroughly too. I'm not talking about UT2K4 here, I'm talking about the CHAOSUT2 mod. I wonder if they ever fixed that or even know about it.

I've installed it. :blackeye: Would a complete reinstall of UT2k4 fix things up? Or should I uninstall, run a registry cleaner, and then reinstall UT2k4?

What would you suggest I do Herm?

I went out to there site and checked to see if they had made an upgrade for the PR3 release. They had not yet. I looked around to see if anyone else had noticed this and there was no mention of it. I don't want to back track totally but it might just be me or my system or my vid card. I don't want you to assume the same has happened to you however. It is something for you to look at next time you have to do a full install. So don't panic! Don't uninstall or anything. If it is working for you and the games all seem fine then just leave it alone. Treat it like a bios upgrade. If it isn't broke don't update the bios. In your case, pretend like I never said a thing because I don't want you to mess up a good system in the evnt I'm wrong and I am wrong more often than I like to admit.
