I've just come off of an all afternoon session of play on ONS-Torlan. Damn, I'm enjoying onslaught and bombing run! I think I'll be buying this game for sure. 8)

However, has anyone found out how to fire the weapons on the Hellbender?
Just pressing the fire buttons only honks the horn! :?
The manual talks about side guns and a rear turret, but doesn't say how to activate them.

I did notice something rather funny about the vehicle though. Once you drive it the licence plate on the back changes from "Hellbender" to your player name. Cute. :lol:

Yeah I finally gave onslaught a shot. I love that tank. Just in case you didn't know, you don't have to play from above and behind the vehicle your driving. You can toggle your view by hitting the f4 key.

In case anyone has been wondering:

You fire the guns on the Hellbender by having a rider jump on board and man the guns. I jumped onto the hellbender at the beginning of a match and waited for a bot to drive it away. While it was moving I hit the "use" key, and then I was manning the gun on the back. This same trick works with the tank. :D
I hit the "use" key as a bot drove by, to see if I could displace it as the driver. Instead I found that it has a machine gun post on top of the turret. I had a great time shooting down mantas and raptors, or just causing great mayhem amoungst enemy bots that were taking potshots at the tank. Both vehicle's weapons have a 'zoom' feature, which is very handy for shooting up the bad guys! :lol:

It seems that you can also have a bot man these positions by telling one that's close by to "cover me". They'll hop aboard and start shooting. :)
