I downloaded Itunes and installed it on Windows 2000 pro.
It told me I needed to restart, so I did.
Only the computer didn't want to.
It wouldn't even start in safe mode.
Oh my Gosh! (computer at work, quickbooks on it mahining software and all that sort of stuff)
It finally started with last known good configuration.
Thereupon, I immediately uninstalled Itunes.
It did tell me when it restarted that I need to d/l another service pack from microsoft for Itunes to work properly.
I think I will just go waterloo records and buy my cds.

Anyone with windows have any problems with Itunes?

I smell a Bill Gates conspiracy here. Billy sorry you had difficulty with iTunes. It figures that Apples first foray into the world of Windows would be met with a windows response in the form of a Crash. I think I'll just blame one of the many patches you guys have had to download lately.

I probably should have mentioned to you guys that iTunes is going to do you little good if you intend on transfering the music to an mp3 player. As it is now I believe that only the Apple ipod plays AAC format. This is the format that iTunes music downloads are in. Hmmm maybe there is an Apple conspiracy. Go buy an ipod.
